How to request deletion

Email contact@apedoctor.lk with the subject "Delete my Ape Doctor Pro account", or submit the same request through our contact form.

    Send the request from the email address linked to your account whenever possible.

    Include your full name and the registered email address or phone number. Do not send your password, OTP, payment card details, or unnecessary medical documents.

  3. 3

    Ape Doctor support may ask for limited additional information to verify account ownership and protect your data.

  4. 4

    After verification, support will confirm the request and begin deleting the account and associated data.

Data scheduled for deletion

  • Your doctor account, authentication links, contact details, profile photo, preferences, and device tokens.
  • Availability schedules, draft registration information, and support content that can be deleted.
  • Professional verification uploads that are not subject to regulatory, safety, or legal retention requirements.
  • Bank payout details after pending payouts, refunds, disputes, and reconciliation work are completed.

Data that may be retained

  • Verification, consultation, prescription, payout, payment, and audit records where retention is required for patient safety, clinical accountability, accounting, regulatory, or legal purposes.
  • Records connected to an unresolved complaint, payout, safety investigation, fraud review, professional review, or legal hold.
  • De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer be linked to your account.

Processing and retention timeline

Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. Data in encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 days before routine deletion. Records that must be retained for healthcare, tax, accounting, payment disputes, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, or legal claims are isolated from normal account use and kept only for the minimum applicable retention period. We will identify any retained categories in the deletion confirmation.

Account deletion is permanent. After completion, you will no longer be able to sign in or recover the deleted account.
